Doesn't like my skin at all. Top/middle notes are sharp and dirty. It's a beautidul perfume but nor my cup of tea( which happens to have a beautiful soft anise scent right now).

Profumum Fiore d'ambra
Synthetic MKK. Hints of the dirty that I so hated in Lutens'. Without MKK's honesty. Doesn't smell all that bad on my skin but for the imbecility of the concept: 2/10
Profumum- Alba
Luca Turin: " This emetically vile composition smells like a cross between Tia Maria and floor cleaner. "
On mah skin: not that bad a floral. It's one rather subdued sweet floral I should say. Sweet floral = tamed sandalwood. My skin loves it and it reminds me a bit of ambra di venezia. A bottle is out of the question unless it comes for 30 bucks or so. 240? Not in this lifetime.
6/10 (6 rather than 7 because of the price)

Pretty nice, wonder what will this develop into...hey where did it go??!! I must be anosmic to most of the middle and base notes of this perfume...
2 ( for cheekyness)

Fleur de Comores
Luckyscent says "deep and edgy", not "frothy, beachy". A somewhat complex fruit salad perfume, but no more than a fruit salad. I'm sure it would be great on the beach for that matter.

BPAL Ayzen Myoo AlSHairan
Yuzu, kaki, and mikan with cherry blossom and black tea.
Another sweet one, interestingly enough, well done
clove, peach and orange with cinnamon, patchouli and dark incense notes.
not bad, perhaps a bit too much cinnamon, there's nothing dark about that, it starts off nicely but then it's a discordant mess

DSH - Mahjoun
Bad testing day today.
Top notes of Mahjoun hit me as just the most annoying iodine note.Or some other hospital note that unearthed unpleasant memories. It should be "bitter almond, cardamom, cherry blossom, lavender, lemon and orange"....right. After a few minutes now it's starting to show some ambery notes but I just can't stand the beginning to consider waiting for anything after that. And the damn iodine note is still there anyway.

Maitresse AP
Not entirely forgetable, not necessary to mention either. Bottle is pretty, wouldn't mind it for office scent.

MDCI Enlevement au Serail.
I'm thinking of this as a variant of Mitsouko and need to investigate differences as well as look into layering Mitsouko with something like a Jasmine attar or essential oil and see if that would do the trick. 200 somefin is a lot of money and &drooling for those 600 $ bottles may cause too much of a dent in finances.

Rose tea?
Top notes are rather acidic/alcoholic. even though this is oil...It does remind one a lot of Tea Rose . Can't say I'm lemming for the juice but the bottles sure are pretty.

Lavender D Karan vs Yves Rocher
The first whif of DK is Lavender, the actual scent of the flower as if encapsulated. Just the lavender without the herbal smell or other scents distracting. It settles in a pleasant but somewhat forgetable floral wherein the lavender leaves center stage. Will have to layer with stronger bases.
The YR is is light sweeter lavender. Settles into somewhat sweet and plasticky ...something with only a vague reminder of the lavender.

Houbigant - Bois Dormant.
Quite gorgeous! Can't remeber the top notes but after a few minutes of development I got a surprising dose of elegand wood, reminiscent of Bois des Isles. It seems to have settled in a gentle, cozy tone. Would love to have bottles and bottles of this.
La Labo Oud 27
Very metallic oud. An interesting exercise but wouldn't be crazy about wearing it a lot.

Roses Musk by Montale
Luckyscent notes: Rose essence, rose absolute, jasmine, musk, amber .
Perhaps my first time writing about a perfume should not be about one that made me wonder if I smell the same thing as other reviewers. But here it goes anyway.
Roses Musk obviously smells of rose, a velvety, freshly-cut, small, red rose. But to my nose, it starts with an almost equally strong note of tobacco. However according to the notes there isn’t any in it. There is an animalic note in the background-obviously the musk, that makes it deeper and more interesting than a simple rose. Very little sweetness. On my skin, after a few hours if fades considerably and I can clearly smell salt plus a faint note of nail polish remover. It is a nice one but I think I prefer the aoud roses from Montale. Dabbed, it lasts for quite a long time but without much sillage.

SL Rose de nuit
9/10
Beautiful dark rose. Very close to the searched One but only in the initial stages. The amber ( as usually on my skin) starts warming up and dominates the drydown. It turns into a sensual comfort scent on my skin.
The conclusion is that the One needs strong notes of patchouli and probably vetiver in the drydown.

Parfumerie generale Ether de lilas

Very sweet, downright yucky on my skin. The drydown sucks also but luckily very faint. Sadly enough, it's stronger than Guerlain's Vetiver pour elle.

Amouage Ubar
Notes :bergamot, lemon, lily of the valley, Damascena rose, Bulgarian rose, jasmine, sandalwood, synthetic civet and vanilla.
It's elegant and beautiful. Floral, comforting. It reminds one of vintage perfumes. And the attars.
8/10. Too pricey.

Bois 1920 Real Patchouli
Beautiful!!!!!
Hot woodsy comforting. The drydown is not as spectacular as the beginning. A tad bit on the sweet boring side.
PST: "Real Patchouly, despite the name, is not just about patchouli. It is heavy on woods and on vanilla, the supporting notes which make the star note simultaneously even darker, more forceful, and softer."

Histoires de parfums - Noir Patchouli
Noir Patchouli has notes of patchouli, coriander, cardamom, floral bouquet, juniper berry, black pepper, musk, vetiver, moss, leather and vanilla.
There is something terribly wrong with some of HDP perfumes. My nose detects in this one a very sharp astringent note. It's more like a sensation than a scent and it totally ruins this otherwise splendid perfume. The awful note seems to start fading in the drydown but not entirely so. It's a beautiful leather but what a shame about that bloody note or whatever it is! 5/10
